We had a very fun birthday party at our house for my dear friend, Robyn Liddell. It was actually a surprise party, and boy was she surprised. During the planning phase, I was always worried that she was going to find out, or that she had already found out, and was constantly watching what I said around her to be sure I didn't slip up. Well, the look on her face and the tears in her eyes were proof that it was indeed a surprise. Since Robyn has a special love of Panda bears, I made her a cake with that in mind. It's a 2-tiered chocolate cake with chocolate icing and crushed oreos, decorated with bamboo on the sides. A second cake stands next to it, decorated with fondant to look like a panda, and it's eatting the chocolate cake. Robyn loved it and it was DELICIOUS! Happy Birthday!
